All nuclear installations are potentially dangerous and very costly to dismantle. There is no safe place to store radioactive nuclear waste. Hence unless we work peacefully to close all nuclear installations and destroy all nuclear weapons we can expect more loss of innocent lives. That too is murder, and the politicians, scientists and financiers should be charged with negligence and manslaughter. All sales of uranium, both in ore form and ‘enriched’ should be banned

It certainly is astonishing that as the United States and its allies continually demand that other countries not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons, no serious attempts are made to reduce the U.S.’s own arsenal. Just as Fukushima has reminded the world that there is no safe nuclear power, maybe this action will help remind us that there are no secure nuclear weapons.
