Internship announcement
Waging Nonviolence is looking for an intern with research and writing skills, an interest in social justice, and experience with online media.
The ideal intern would be able to put in two or three hours of work each weekday (negotiable) on a variety of tasks, including:
- Combing through news sites to assemble our regular feature, “Experiments with Truth”
- Promoting our posts on other websites, as well as on Facebook and Twitter
- Event planning
- Writing comments and occasional posts
Since we are a strictly online organization, all work would be conducted remotely. Interns living close to New York City, however, would be able to meet with the editorial team regularly. The internship is unpaid, but we are willing to help arrange for school credit if possible.
