Michael Schulz is a professor in Peace and Development Research at the School of Global Studies, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He has published extensively on various issues in the Middle East (resistance, democracy and state building, conflict resolution, post-colonialism and regionalism). The most recent monograph is "Between Resistance: Resistance, Sharia Law, and Demo-Islamic Politics."
