Andie Markowitz is a recent graduate from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College with a focus in community organizing, planning and development. She currently works at a mental health agency in Brooklyn, New York providing therapeutic care for adults with severe mental illness. She also has a background in youth and adult facilitation on topics such as active bystander intervention, community advocacy and engagement, and hate violence prevention.
