George Lakey in the New York Times and on Radio Times

    Earlier this month, Waging Nonviolence columnist George Lakey wrote about Earth Quaker Action Team’s recent success in forcing PNC Bank to stop financing mountaintop removal. As a veteran organizer and one of the group’s leaders, Lakey provided insights into the five year campaign’s strategy and tactics. News of this major victory for the climate movement spread and Lakey was interviewed by both the New York Times and WHYY’s Radio Times.
