Saturday NYC film screening: The Lottery of Birth

The Lottery of BirthWhat makes us conform to the status quo? What makes us resist? These are questions at the heart of any popular struggle, and they come to the fore in the new film The Lottery of Birth, directed by Raoul Martinez and Joshua van Praag. This Saturday, June 22, following the 2 p.m. screening in the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn, WNV editor Nathan Schneider will facilitate a discussion about the film and what it means for liberating resistance struggles.
