Jerry Folk is a retired clergyman of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. He served as the Executive Director of the ELCA's Commission for Church in Society from 1987 to 1992 and as Executive Director of the Wisconsin Council of Churches from 1994 to 2003. Jerry is the author of two books, "Worldly Christians: A Call to Faith, Prayer and Action" (1983, Augsburg) and "Doing Theology, Doing Justice" (1991, Augsburg Fortress). He taught Religious Studies, Theology, and Peace Studies at Bethany College, Bethany WV and Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
