Allison Corbett

Allison Corbett is a Virginia-raised, Brooklyn-based interpreter, language justice consultant, and oral historian. She is passionate about creating systems-level change from a language justice lens and has worked with organizations that range from small volunteer collectives to large city agencies. She is grateful to be in community with and working in the lineage of many of the language justice workers named in this article. In 2015, she founded the Language of Justice, an oral history project from which some of the content of this article is drawn.
