Anya Stanger is the author of "Incarcerated Resistance: How Identity, Gender, and Privilege Shape the Experiences of America's Nonviolent Activists" (Lexington Press, 2022). She teaches Conflict Studies at Syracuse University, and Women's and Gender Studies at Sierra College.
