Imam Muhammad Hatim, Ph.D., D.Min., CADC is an author, human rights activist, and lecturer. As an imam with the Admiral Family Circle Islamic Community in New York City he directed their Justice Ministry (prison and courts), as well as their U.N. Human Rights Summer Intern Program in Geneva, Switzerland. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and a D.Min. in Pastoral Counseling. He has over 18 years as a certified substance use disorder/behavioral health counselor.
