Ethan Foote is a musician and composer based in Washington, D.C. In 2005, as an act of protest against war and empire he chose not to register with the Selective Service System. His decision led him to discover the Center on Conscience & War, on whose board he now serves, helping to extend and defend the rights of conscientious objectors and other opponents of conscription and war.
