Lisa Schirch is a professor of peace studies at the University of Notre Dame, where she teaches and writes about strategic nonviolent action and peacebuilding approaches to violent extremism. She has been part of the movement for coexistence with a just peace for nearly 40 years, working in partnership with Israeli and Palestinian peace movements.
