Obiora Ikoku is a Nigerian author, freelance journalist and activist who lives in Lagos, Nigeria. He writes about social movements, workers struggles, conflict and the geopolitics of Africa’s relations with the rest of the world. Of recent, his writing has focused on the unfolding seismic shifts in political developments in Sub-Saharan Africa under the impact of climate change, the COVID-19 pandemic, jihadist insurgency and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
