DPhil (University of Oxford) is a scholar of contemporary religion and nonreligion, peace activist, and esoteric arts practitioner. She is a member of the Board at the Metta Center for Nonviolence, served in the Peace Corps in Kazakhstan, and teaches theology and religious studies in California.
