Anthony Huaqui is a doctoral student in the sociology department at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. He holds a B.A. in sociology from Central Connecticut State University. As a doctoral student at UMass - Amherst, Anthony primarily studies the sociology of labor and the sociology of the welfare state. He is interested in examining the intersectional dimensions of resistance and power in the workplace and how workers themselves understand these dimensions.
