Alex Mayyasi is a staff writer at Priceonomics, a media startup in San Francisco, and the co-author of You Are Under Arrest for Masterminding the Egyptian Revolution. Ahmed Salah is an Egyptian democracy activist. He was a co-leader of three of Egypt’s most prominent protest movements—Kefaya, Youth for Change, and the April 6th Movement—and a principal organizer of the Egyptian Revolution. In 2013, he received the Champion of Justice Award from the Center for Justice and Accountability.
