Clifton Ross has covered Latin American politics and culture for over forty years. He represented the U.S. in the Second World Poetry Festival of Venezuela in 2005. He has published a dozen or so books, among them his political memoir, "Home from the Dark Side of Utopia," which details his break with the Chavistas (AK Press, 2016).
