Eglal Hamid Abdulgadir

Eglal Hamid Abdulgadir is an independent researcher and journalist whose work explores political authority, governance, conflict, forced displacement and the political economy of war, with a particular focus on Sudan and the Horn of Africa. Her writing examines how conflict reshapes institutions, civilian agency, statehood, and the ways communities organize and survive amid political and social upheaval. Her work has appeared in The Republic, Inkstick, Africa in Fact, African Arguments, Democracy in Africa and other international publications.
