Paola Lozada is an associate professor of international relations at the Catholic University of Ecuador. She also teaches at Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, a regional postgraduate university located in Quito. She worked for the Ecuadorian government in institutions such as the Ministry of Agriculture, the National Secretariat of Science and Technology and the National Customs Agency. Her research focuses mainly on conflict resolution and peace studies.
