Selina Gallo-Cruz is an assistant professor of sociology at College of the Holy Cross. She has published research on the movement to close the U.S. Army School of the Americas, the natural birth and midwifery movements, and the role of international NGOs in globalizing nonviolence. Currently she is preparing a book on women and nonviolence.
